Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") carefully before using the Kitty Comforts("the Service") provided by Kitty Comforts ("the Service Provider"). This Agreement outlines the legally binding terms and conditions that protect both parties involved and ensure a professional and satisfactory service.

1. Service Description and Responsibilities

a. The Service Provider offers pet care services to clients who require assistance in caring for their pets, homes and plants while they are away from home.

b. The Service Provider will perform the agreed-upon services diligently, utilizing their professional expertise and adhering to industry best practices.

c. The Client shall provide accurate and up-to-date information about their pets, including vaccination records or titer test results, medical history, feeding schedules, and emergency contact information.

d. The Service Provider does not provide behavioral modification training for pets. The Service Provider solely utilizes positive reinforcement methods during the provision of services.

e. Plant care services may include watering, fertilizing, pruning, and general maintenance as agreed upon between the Service Provider and the Client.

2. Pet Care Restrictions

a. The Service Provider will not provide care for aggressive pets with a history of biting or injuring animals or people.

b. Clients must disclose all behavioral issues or concerns regarding their pets to the Service Provider before the service is provided.

3. Escapes and Property Liability

a. The Service Provider is not responsible for pets that escape yards, faulty doorways, windows, screens, or pet doors.

b. The Service Provider shall not be held responsible for any complications the pet(s) may suffer or actions of the pet(s) while they are unattended.

c. The Service Provider shall not be held responsible for any damages or issues that may arise when another provider or person enters the client's home between visits.

4. Plant Care

a. The Service Provider will provide plant care services as agreed upon with the Client.

b. The Client acknowledges that while the Service Provider will exercise reasonable care in tending to the plants, they cannot guarantee the health, growth, or survival of any plants.

c. The Client shall provide necessary information about plant care requirements, including watering schedules, preferred fertilizers, and any specific instructions for individual plants.

5. Limitation of Liability

a. The Service Provider is only responsible for the pets owned by the client who is paying for the service and is not responsible for the care or actions of any other pets.

b. The Service Provider is not responsible for any injuries, damages, losses, or accidents involving the client's property, pets, or plants, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Media Usage

The client acknowledges that any pictures, audio, or videos taken by Homebound Pet and Plant Care are the property of the Service Provider and may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

a. The Service Provider acknowledges the importance of client privacy and will take all necessary measures to protect client information and maintain confidentiality.

b. The Service Provider shall not disclose any client information to third parties without the client's explicit consent unless required by law or to ensure the safety and well-being of the pets and plants under their care.

c. Any personal information collected from the client will be used solely for the purpose of providing the services requested and will be securely stored and protected.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

a. The Client may cancel or reschedule the service by providing reasonable notice to the Service Provider, as specified by the Service Provider's cancellation policy.

b. Refunds for canceled services shall be provided in accordance with the Service Provider's refund policy, as communicated to the client prior to booking.

9. Termination

a. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party, specifying the effective termination date.

b. In the event of termination, the Client shall compensate the Provider for any services already rendered in accordance with the agreed-upon fees.

10. Amendments and Changes

The Service Provider reserves the right to make changes to these terms and policies at any time without prior notice. Any amendments or changes will be communicated to the client in writing or through updated documentation.

By engaging the services of Kitty Comforts, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and policies.
